The main covenants in the Bible are cut in blood as part of God’s blood economy. All covenants were cut with Israel with no Gentiles in sight. We were never invited to the Mosaic Covenant based on the Law. We Gentiles later get grafted into the New Covenant which was cut between the Father and His Son Jesus Christ on our behalf. In Christ we also become Abrahams seed and heirs according to the promise. Celebrating Communion is so powerful because we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again. We as His Sons & Daughters are God’s convenant partners in the earth, living in the abundant blessings of our inheritance in Christ, and releasing the Kingdom of God everywhere we go. It was a powerful return to the Gospel of God’s Glory and Grace in the face of Christ. It was sparked by the bible translation by John Wickliff, from Latin into English, which ultimately became available to all. This opened the eyes of Reformers like Martin Luther who challenged the Catholic Church about their unbiblical beliefs like Purgatory and the use Indulgences. The Reformation was a return to the revelation of justification by faith alone through grace, apart from works. That Gods amazing grace in Christ paid for all of our sin and wiped all of our debt. That through his one perfect sacrifice Jesus made us perfectly holy and complete for all time.
